⚡ Major Power Outage in Southern Europe



A massive blackout struck Spain, Portugal, Andorra, and parts of southwestern France on April 28, disrupting transportation, hospitals, and communication systems. The cause remains under investigation, with possibilities including a cyberattack or a fire damaging a high-voltage power line. As of late Monday, only about 20% of Spain’s electricity had been restored.

Canadians are heading to the polls today to decide whether to extend the Liberal Party’s decade in power under Prime Minister Mark Carney or to elect Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre. The election is closely watched, with significant implications for Canada’s future direction.

A massive explosion at Iran’s largest commercial port has killed at least 70 people. The country’s interior minister has blamed “negligence” for the incident, which occurred two days ago and continues to impact port operations.
